no need to argue

the cranberries' v. old (1994) album 'no need to argue' is the perfect waking up soundtrack for a quiet bank holiday morning like this one, as I just rediscovered. 'ode to my family', a great start; by the time that 'zombie' is on, the coffee is ready, 'daffodil lament' is the right time to switch the computer on. 'and the daffodils look lovely today...' or rather the chestnut trees in bloom. and if anyone says I'm uncool: screw you. I'm a girl, I'm entitled to some kitsch once in a while.
